Slater and Gordon Strengthens Liverpool Family Law Team with Senior Appointment

Slater and Gordon’s family law team has welcomed Andrew Ormrod, a seasoned practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in family law. This strategic addition bolsters the firm’s specialist family law presence in Liverpool.

Andrew, who joins as a senior associate, has 20 years of experience in supporting families through divorce and separation matters, and has particular expertise in cases involving children and custody arrangements.

His appointment adds further expertise to Slater and Gordon’s family team, which is already renowned as a go-to in the region.

In addition to its flagship base in Liverpool, the law firm also has an office in Wirral, which is home to a number of its specialist family lawyers – with Andrew’s appointment strengthening its offering across Merseyside even further.

“I am very pleased to join Slater and Gordon, a firm with an excellent track record for its work in family law,” says Andrew, a member of Resolution.

“Throughout the past two decades, I have worked hard for my clients to put their interests first and achieve the best outcome for them in their unique circumstances. That commitment is shared by the whole team here, which was a key factor in me joining, as well as a reason why Slater and Gordon has the reputation it does.”

Georgina Chase, head of family law at Slater and Gordon, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the team, a lawyer who is well known for his legal capability and client commitment. He is rightly known as a key name in family law in Merseyside and, over the course of the past 20 years, has earned the reputation he has today.

“We look forward to working with Andrew to support even more clients, and to add further to the esteem in which Slater and Gordon is held regionally and nationally in this highly specialised area of law.”
