Barnsdales Welcomes Tim Richardson As New Director And Chris Beale As Associate Director At Its Newly Launched Derby Office
Leading property consultancy and chartered surveyors Barnsdales has announced the appointment of two new members to its Midlands property team as the company prepares for further growth in the coming year.
Tim Richardson, a surveyor with over 30 years of experience, will take on the role of Director, focusing on commercial property valuations. Chris Beale will join as Associate Director, specializing in residential and mixed-use property valuations, including large and small portfolios, individual valuations, and Help To Buy equity loan valuations.
These appointments come during a period of significant expansion for Barnsdales, including the recent acquisition of its first London office, led by former Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) President, Graham Chase.
Tim, a member of RICS (MRICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer with a Diploma in Arbitration, will handle general commercial property issues. His responsibilities will include investment property and loan security valuations, private valuations for various purposes, and assessments across industrial, distribution, office, retail, and development land sectors.

Tim’s appointment follows the recent high-profile hires of Professor Graham Chase, former RICS President, as head of valuations, and Ian Dickinson as Finance & Operations Director. Chris Beale, a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer with 25 years of post-qualification experience, joins Barnsdales from Legal & General, having also worked with e.surv chartered surveyors.
