INDEMNITY LEGAL BOLSTERS SENIOR TEAM WITH NEW PARTNER

Boutique Insurance Law Firm Indemnity Legal today announced industry heavyweight Nick Colman has joined as Partner. Nick joins the young firm hot on the heels of the news that the Legal 500 has selected Indemnity Legal as a ‘Firm to Watch 2023’. Indemnity Legal has increased its revenue (YoY 2021-2022) by 100%, grown to five Partners and three Associates and opened a second office in the heart of London’s insurance hub EC3, since it first launched in February 2020.

Nick has spent much of his career advising insurers (including at two firms he co-founded, Reynolds Colman Bradley and Consilium Law). At Indemnity Legal, Nick will use his experience working for insurers to advise policyholders on the resolution of coverage disputes across a wide range of industry sectors and lines of business. His specialisms include construction, IT, financial services, directors and officers, and professional liability, having also been appointed in employment and aviation disputes.

Recently ranked by Chambers & Partners, Managing Partner of Indemnity Legal James Morris comments: “Our mission is to ensure that every valid insurance claim is paid for our clients, no matter how complex. Against a tough economic climate, and a hard insurance market, we’re seeing more and more high value, complicated insurance disputes arise so the bench strength of our specialist team has never been more important. Nick is a fantastic addition to our growing team, bringing with him years of experience in the resolution of complex coverage disputes, as well as a solid understanding of how the insurance market thinks. We’re delighted to welcome him on board.”

Specialising in the resolution of complex and high value insurance claims for policyholders, Indemnity Legal has carved a niche amongst a growing pool of referrers (which includes insurance brokers, other top-tier law firms and insolvency practitioners, amongst others) owing to each of its five partners having worked for insurers in the past. That insight allows Indemnity Legal to get to the heart of an insurance dispute quickly by ensuring that expert legal advice is underpinned by a genuine understanding of how the insurance market operates, and where the key issues for an insurer might lie.

Nick Colman, recently appointed Partner adds, “The insurance landscape has become more complex as a result of the huge global issues individuals and businesses have faced over the last few years. I’m excited to be joining such a great team and navigate the new world for policyholders within a fast-growing firm on an exciting trajectory and which is truly dedicated to resolving all valid claims, however complicated they might be.”

  1. Because Bitcoin (BTC 2.22%) makes up roughly half of the overall market capitalization of the cryptocurrency sector, the direction it trades typically drives the direction of the overall market. While that can be frustrating for investors in many smaller-cap projects, it’s also true that Bitcoin’s momentum often dictates the price action of other projects across the spectrum. Investors may have heard the news: A three-judge panel from the U.S. Court of Appeals has given a favorable interpretation for spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to be launched. This panel granted Grayscale Investments’ petition for review, to have its Grayscale Bitcoin Trust rolled into a spot Bitcoin ETF. Based on data from the Dune panel, the trade volume of Bitcoin Ordinals is in a downward trend. After hitting a record high of $18.13 million on May 8, the trade volume declined for three days in a row to $4.86 million.

The cryptocurrency market is volatile because it moves significantly, making it an unpredictable market that trades 24 7. Keeping pace of real-time price and volume movements in the market might be tough for a crypto investor — regardless of experience level. We recognize how critical it is for cryptocurrency traders to be up to date on market instabilities in cryptocurrency values. Fortunately, our graphical charts have taken care of the problem by allowing you to effortlessly monitor the real-time values of numerous popular cryptocurrencies. Most crypto investors have focused on cryptocurrencies with strong fundamentals and use-cases such as Bitcoin (CCC:BTC-USD) and Ethereum. These digital assets have an established presence in the market and have gained acceptance from institutional investors, the top financial institutions, and major trading platforms. However, it’s tough to achieve a colossal ROI by investing in the industry stalwarts, which is why SHIB-USD has been a darling to short-term investors. Nevertheless, it remains an incredibly volatile investment, with little or no use-cases to support its rallies.
