Growth continues at pace at Johnson Law Group with six new appointments

Consumer Litigation Law Firm, Johnson Law Group, has bolstered its team with the appointment of a chartered legal executive and five new paralegals at its Manchester office.

With experience in civil litigation, indemnity, insurance, credit hire and personal injury, charted legal executive Tyler Keegan has worked in civil litigation since 2017, with previous roles at DAC Beachcroft and Keogh’s. He provided guidance on unfair contractual terms and consumer rights to the lead lawyer in Armstead v RSA at first instance, now a Supreme Court case with judgment handed down in February 2024.

His role at Johnson Law Group will focus on the diesel emission group litigation with a focus on consumer rights and contractual misrepresentation.

As well as welcoming Tyler to the team, JLG has appointed five new paralegals – Alexandra Rankin, Anastasis Michailas, Moaz Irfan, Saima Zahid and Maria Christou, who are assisting the team on the firm’s current group action claims, including the diesel emissions claim, easyJet data breach claim and mis-sold PCP car finance claim.

Opening its first UK office in February 2020, for the last 30 years Johnson Law Group has been a leader in the US legal mass-tort market and brings a wealth of experience into the UK market, offering legal advice and assistance in a variety of practice areas, from Pension Mis-selling claims to Data Breach claims, Vehicle Emissions Claims and Mis-sold car finance PCP.

Over the past four years, JLG’s client base has grown exponentially, with over 200,000 claimants in the diesel emissions group action alone.

Jamie Patton, Managing Director at Johnson Law Group, said: “It’s an exciting time to join Johnson Law Group, and we’re delighted to have Tyler on board, alongside our cohort of paralegals, who are providing an invaluable service to our clients. As our client base grows, so does our team, with plans for further expansion in the next six months.”
