Thomson Snell & Passmore advises PPJ Oiltax Partners LLP on its acquisition of CW Energy from The Ince Group plc

PPJ Oiltax Partners LLP (PPJ) has acquired the business and assets of specialist tax consultancy firm CW Energy LLP (CWE) from legal, accounting, financial services, consulting and pension advice services company, The Ince Group plc (Ince Group).

Thomson Snell & Passmore advised PPJ on the acquisition, after it originally sold CWE to The Ince Group in November 2017. CWE provides specialist taxation services to companies in the energy sector, primarily in the oil and gas industry.

Jason Varney, Partner in the Corporate department led the project team at Thomson Snell & Passmore and was assisted primarily by Rosie Haines, Senior Associate (Corporate) and Luke Guinan, Solicitor (Corporate).
