WFW advises Atlante on two innovative e-mobility transport project tenders

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has successfully advised Atlante S.r.l. (“Atlante”), a company in the NHOA group, on two e-mobility and transport project tenders.

The first tender concerned the assignment by the Municipality of Padua, following a public tender process, of a contract to construct two innovative hubs for parking and recharging electric vehicles. These two e-mobility hubs between will provide a total of 80 electrified parking spaces exclusively powered by renewable energy produced by solar panels covering the overall parking area of 160 spaces.

Thanks to WFW’s support, Atlante was also awarded the tender for a project announced by Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A. for the construction of eight ultra-rapid recharging points at Rome’s Fiumicino airport, located in the departures and arrivals car parks as well as those reserved for rental cars, all also powered by energy produced from renewable sources.

Atlante is NHOA’s global business unit dedicated to building Italy’s the first wholly renewables-powered, 100% grid-integrated EV fast-charging network. The Atlante project is the result of the partnership between NHO, which develops and invests networks as both owner and operator, charging technology supplier Free2Move eSolutions and Stellantis automotive group.

The multidisciplinary WFW Italy team advising Atlante was led by Public Law, Regulatory & Competition Counsel Giannalberto Mazzei assisted by Associate Cesare Fossati, with Senior Associate Arianna Neri providing civil and commercial law expertise.
