International law firm CMS has signed up to technology from NatWest’s multi award-winning open banking payments solution Payit, to collect charity donations from employees for their charity partners using reusable link technology as part of their wider social impact programme.
Introducing Reusable Links, the latest Payit feature, CMS is the first business to get on board. This new feature allows payments to be collected from multiple accounts, via one seamless link, , without requiring card or bank account details from the donor.
It will enable CMS to collect charity payments from employees for their selected charity partners with reduced costs, friction and administrative burdens of traditional methods using card payments.
Reusable Link functionality makes it easier for businesses to adopt and distribute links and QR codes for a variety of different payment scenarios. Multiple payers can use the same link or QR code which can be surfaced in multiple environments to collect payments, significantly reducing the development burden.
A Reusable Link from Payit provides a flexible and seamless way to collect these donations directly from employee bank accounts, while retaining control of referencing for the various charities. CMS has been provided with a reusable link for each charity they support.
The reference for each charity is built into the link to simplify the administration process and will help CMS distribute the raised funds to their various charity partners quicker.
Payit’s Reusable Link functionality will also benefit other businesses, such as those in the hospitality and energy sectors who are looking to transform the way payments are collected. Merchants can create Reusable Links for each of their customers that can be deployed from various Point-of-Sale devices.
