DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has announced the appointment of Simon Pemberton as the new global head of corporate claims within its Claims Management and Adjusting (CMA) business.
With over 30 years of experience in the insurance claims management sector, Simon has held prominent roles at organizations including Sun Alliance International, Zurich Municipal, and Gallagher Bassett International Limited. Most recently, he served as the UK CEO at Gallagher Bassett, where he led the UK executive team and contributed to global strategy as a key member of the international executive team.
In recognition of his contributions to the industry, Simon was included in Insurance Business’ Global 100 List in 2022. His leadership at DWF marks a strategic move to enhance the firm’s CMA capabilities globally.
Simon’s appointment follows a series of significant developments at DWF’s CMA practice, including the acquisition of Proclaim in September 2024 and key leadership appointments such as Antonio Herrera Sancho in Spain, Darren Goldman in North America, and Luca Schilardi in Europe.
