Freeths, a leading national law firm, has provided legal counsel to LGW Group Limited, a prominent construction company operating across Southern England and Wales, in its acquisition of Multi-Crete Concrete and Concrete Pumping Limited from founders Simon Robinson and Jason Bowen. This strategic acquisition propels LGW Group’s total turnover beyond £40 million, reinforcing its position as a key player in the industry.

With this expansion, LGW Group becomes the only construction company in the region offering a fully integrated concreting service. Its extensive portfolio already includes Wright Readymix, Bristol Brick Co, Prodeck-Fixing, and Mexboro, solidifying its status as a comprehensive provider for both commercial and residential construction projects.

Multi-Crete, headquartered in Gloucestershire with operations in the Forest of Dean and Wiltshire, is a specialist in concrete supply and pumping services, further strengthening LGW’s capabilities in the sector.

Leading the Freeths team was Corporate Managing Associate Edward Chapman. The shareholders of Multi-Crete were advised by Hopson Solicitors, led by Corporate Director Andrew Hough and assisted by Corporate Associate Solicitor Jessica Morgan-Ebdon and Employment Director Rachel Stephens.
