Former BNY Mellon executive to lead strategic growth at digital tax reclamation service
TaxTec, a digital tax reclamation service, has announced the appointment of Daron Pearce as its new Chairperson. Pearce, a well-established figure in the investment industry, will assume the role effective immediately.
Pearce brings a wealth of experience to the position, having served as the founder and CEO of Daron Pearce Associates, where he advised asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies. Prior to that, Pearce was the EMEA CEO of BNY Mellon’s largest business unit and led its Financial Institutions Group globally, where he developed relationships with top institutional investors.
Stephen Everard, CEO of TaxTec, expressed confidence in Pearce’s leadership, stating, “Daron’s strategic insight and industry expertise make him the ideal person to guide TaxTec through its next phase of growth.”
In his new role, Pearce will oversee TaxTec’s global expansion efforts as the company continues to develop its AI-enabled tax recovery platform.
