Cartwright King Solicitors Partners with IMPAKT Charity to Support Domestic Abuse Survivors

Cartwright King Solicitors, one of England’s leading law firms with one of the largest childcare teams in the country, is giving back to the community by sponsoring IMPAKT, a domestic abuse charity. The firm’s childcare team has seen remarkable growth, expanding by nearly three times over the past year to approximately 40 members, and now, they’re taking action to assist victims of domestic abuse.

As part of the sponsorship, Cartwright King will fund networking coffee mornings organized by IMPAKT. These events serve as a platform for professionals across Bedfordshire, Luton, Cambridgeshire, and North Hertfordshire to collaborate with supporting agencies. The gatherings aim to foster new strategies and share knowledge on how to best support domestic abuse survivors and work toward ending such abuse.

With offices in major cities across England, including Blackburn, Manchester, London, Birmingham, Derby, Leicester, and Nottingham, Cartwright King Solicitors is making a positive impact on local communities. Mindy Chall, Regional Director and Head of Childcare at Cartwright King, is leading the firm’s sponsorship efforts.

She commented, “By supporting initiatives like IMPAKT’s coffee mornings, we help build a more connected and effective network for those looking to escape the cycle of abuse. Together, we can help provide survivors with the support they need to rebuild their lives.”

This partnership between Cartwright King Solicitors and IMPAKT demonstrates the law firm’s commitment to addressing vital social issues and making a difference in the lives of those affected by domestic abuse.

“We’re not just supporting a charity; we’re empowering a community. At Cartwright King Solicitors, we believe in building connections that bring safety and hope to some of society’s most vulnerable.

“As our childcare team grows, so does our responsibility to those in need. Sponsoring IMPAKT means we can help build bridges for the vulnerable, offering them not just legal support, but a path to a safer, brighter future.”

Established in 1986 as Bedford YMCA, IMPAKT was set up to help the homeless and later victims of domestic abuse.

The charity offers services and resources tailored to help remove the victim from the abuser at the earliest opportunity and provide the emotional and practical support to make the transition as smooth as possible.

In addition to its coffee mornings, the charity holds donation events and initiatives such as its Community Larder event and Wishing Tree campaign.

Mindy added: “True impact comes from collective effort. By supporting IMPAKT’s invaluable work, we are proud to be part of a community that stands together to uplift and empower those who have faced unimaginable challenges.

“Together, we are addressing immediate needs, and most importantly planting the seeds of lasting change for those affected by domestic abuse.”
