Launched on January 2, 2024, with 130 Partners from an Am Law 200 peer firm, PierFerd prioritized culture, diversity, cutting-edge technology, and a client-centric model to create a modern, elite law firm.
One year later, PierFerd has solidified its position as one of the fastest-growing global law firms, hiring over 200 lawyers, entering its first international market, achieving impressive global billings, and securing major commercial and client victories.
The arrival of PierFerd’s 200th lawyer marks a significant milestone, reflecting the firm’s focus on maintaining its culture and expanding organically with a commitment to excellence. Every lawyer hired in 2024 came from top-tier Am Law ranked firms, leading companies across various industries, boutique firms, or growth companies.
Thanks to organic growth and strategic partner appointments, PierFerd has seen substantial global billings in its first year, and 2025 is set to continue the momentum, positioning the firm as one of the largest global law firms by size.
In July 2024, PierFerd marked its first international expansion with the opening of its office in London, UK. PierFerd’s growing UK team serves multinational clients in the key financial hub; expanding its client service offerings.
Many new hires – individuals and groups – are expected through 2025 with a strong pipeline of elite, partner candidates under consideration. PierFerd’s growth strategy also involves further geographic expansion with international market opportunities under consideration.

In November, PierFerd’s technology stack was enhanced with the introduction of Harvey AI, a secure, GDPR-compliant technology which further enhances legal research, document analysis, and drafting.
PierFerd’s technology leadership is complemented by its distributed work model – allowing lawyers to work remotely from secure office locations. This model, supported by continuous and purposeful internal communication, creates a culture surpassing the traditional office environment, and has already positioned PierFerd as a leader in the modern legal landscape. Leaning into the distributed model and its competitive advantages will continue in 2025.
