Devonshires Grows Birmingham Office With New Partner Hire

Law firm Devonshires has hired Baljit Basra who joins the firm as a partner in the Birmingham office. The hire increases the number of partners at the firm to 55.

Baljit Basra joins from Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP. Baljit is a Housing Litigation lawyer who is joining the 50 strong Housing Management and Property Litigation department which is led by Donna McCarthy.

Baljit has 20 plus years of experience in various matters including training Registered Providers, court advocacy, disrepair, statutory nuisance, possession and advising on policy and procedures.

The arrival of Baljit Basra follows a continuous period of growth for the firm following the promotion of five Solicitors to partner namely; Rachel Orgill-Harris, Natalie Swales, Carlos Fernandes, Joanna Bouloux andPauline Lépissier.

Baljit will be based in the Birmingham office which was opened in March 2022. She will be leading the Birmingham Housing Management and Property Litigation team which sits alongside the teams in London and Leeds.
