Trio of senior associates promoted by Corker Binning

London law firm Corker Binning has promoted three senior associates, effective from April 1.
Danielle Reece-Greenhalgh will be made a partner, while Maia Cohen-Lask and Nick Barnard will become Of Counsel.
All three started their legal careers at Corker Binning and their promotions reflect their achievements.

Danielle (centre) qualified as a solicitor in 2016 after working as a paralegal and completing her training contract with the firm. Danielle acts for individuals across the full spectrum of criminal offences, but has particular experience in domestic abuse, violent and sexual offences and possession/distribution of indecent images. Last year Chambers & Partners named her the only “Star Associate” in London for both Crime and Extradition.

Maia (left) was a paralegal at the firm in 2012-2013 and then practised as a self-employed barrister before re-joining the company in 2015. She has since become experienced in  financial and general crime, representing clients in some high-profile cases. Last year Legal 500 described Maia as a “rising star” in white-collar crime.

Nick (right) was a paralegal at the firm in 2011-12. After completing his training contract at a top 100 London firm, Nick returned to Corker Binning in 2015. Since then, Nick has been  advising clients on a range of criminal and regulatory matters, including FCA investigations into many forms of market misconduct and HMRC investigations regarding tax fraud.
