Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) has appointed Amanda Masson as Head of Family Law.
Amanda, who joins as a Partner from Harper Macleod, brings 25 years of experience and a strong background in litigation, handling cases in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session.
Among her specialisms are child relocation and high value financial provision in cases involving family businesses, as well as in family creation and fertility law.
Amanda is also regularly instructed in complex international adoption and surrogacy cases. This is a growing area of practice for her.

“Family law is an area that requires both expertise and sensitivity, and helping clients navigate legal challenges in this area is a real privilege.

Amanda, who will be based in the Glasgow office, joins the firm at an exciting time of growth following its announcement it is set to join forces with Davidson Chalmers Stewart.
