Excello opens new office in Staffordshire bringing national network to 10 locations

Following recent recruitment success, national consultancy law firm Excello Law has opened a new office in Newcastle-under-Lyme near Stoke-on-Trent to support its consultant lawyers across Staffordshire, bringing its office network to 10 locations.

The local Excello team now numbers seven partner lawyers, including new joiner Dermot Callinan who specialises in corporate and commercial, as well as two support staff, including insolvency specialist Diane Dunion who has recently joined to support commercial litigation partner Richard Preston.

The range of expertise now available across the team working out of Stoke includes advising on employment, corporate & commercial, litigation, dispute resolution, insolvency and real estate legal services.

The new office in Windsor Street will support Excello’s clients in the area and the firm’s ambitious plans for expansion. Excello has significantly grown its central region office network over the last two years with the Stoke-on-Trent office complementing its Snowhill office in Birmingham, opened in 2019, and a move to larger facilities in Leicester earlier this year.

Employment partner Karen Coleman has been working with Excello Law as a consultant lawyer for the past five years. She commented: “The wider Stoke area is a strong commercial hub and it is great for us to have office facilities at the heart of our client base. Our team is all locally based and this solidifies our presence in the area, giving us a visible platform to recruit more consultant lawyers in the region.”

Joanne Losty, director at Excello Law, added: “We have the largest office network of any of the consultancy firms –– and it was a natural extension of our growth ambitions in the central region to open new facilities in Staffordshire to support our team. We’re delighted to have a permanent base in the region and look forward to recruiting more lawyers to the firm.”
