Multinational firm Pinsent Masons has won the Bronze Diversity Mark from Diversity Mark NI.
An independent panel assessment judged the law firm’s efforts in sustaining a diverse and representative workplace in Northern Ireland.
The Diversity Mark accreditation is awarded to companies following an assessment process which ensures they have reached the required standard of commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion (D&I).
Pinsent Masons has unveiled a number of initiatives including establishing a Global Inclusion Steering Group which monitors gender balance at senior roles across the firm and provides overarching leadership of all of the firm’s D&I programmes and network groups.
It has also implemented measures to create a level playing field for career development and progression including mentoring and training for its whole workforce.
Pinsent Masons’ Belfast office head, Andrea McIlroy-Rose said: “We are proud to have achieved a Bronze Diversity Award. To be recognised for the hard work and initiatives we have implemented, not just in Northern Ireland, but across our global footprint demonstrates that we are committed to achieving genuine change and making business work better for people.”
